The upcoming hotels in Dubai in 2024

Many new hotels are set to open in Dubai in the coming year, marking a surge in developments as the city’s tourism and real estate sectors continue to expand.

Among the upscale hotel projects slated for accessibility to the public in 2019 are Fairmont, Six Senses, Five, and more.

Five Luxe

Five Luxe, an expansion of the renowned FIVE chain of hotels in Dubai’s hospitality sector, is set to debut soon, although exact opening dates have not yet been announced. Located within Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR), this new construction will feature 222 rooms, 276 residential apartments, and seven restaurants, along with amenities like a social pool, beach club, Lío Ibiza dome, and a spacious 14,000-square-foot beach.

Fairmont Dubai Skyline

An upcoming addition to the city’s skyline announced by developer RSG, is part of a five-year development plan worth AED5 billion ($1.4 billion). The property, housed within a 226-meter-tall structure, will boast 181 rooms, 121 apartments, and a penthouse suite spread across 54 stories, accompanied by facilities like a fitness center, spa, infinity pool, golden lounge area, and more.

Mama Shelter Dubai is a mixed-use development featuring hotel rooms, apartments, shops, and restaurants. Offering amenities such as an infinity pool, leisure spaces, and fitness centers, the development provides apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms, with prices starting at AED967,000.

One & Only One Za’abeel

Dubbed “Dubai’s vertical resort,” features 90 residential units and 229 hotel rooms, connected by “The Link,” a structure designed by Nikken Sekkei. The development offers various amenities including bars, restaurants, a rooftop terrace, gym, spa, and observation deck, with twelve dining concepts and a Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie.

Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab

Inspired by a super yacht and offering views of the Burj Al Arab, is a hotel in Jumeirah soon to open, with amenities like restaurants, bars, spas, and wellness centers, and accommodation including 386 rooms and suites, four penthouses, and 83 luxury hotel apartment suites.

Six Senses Residences

The Palm, marks Six Senses’ UAE debut, with 60 rooms and over 60,000 square feet of amenities, including bars, restaurants, kids’ club, spa, and library, within a development on Palm Jumeirah featuring nine beachfront villas, 32 sky villas, and 121 penthouses.

Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower

part of Dubai’s second Mandarin Oriental Hotel, features 258 hotel rooms and 229 residential units within the Wasl Tower on Sheikh Zayed Road, with amenities like a two-story spa, rooftop sky bar, and a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. The tower’s Z-shaped design and traditional “contrapposto” movement offer flexibility in orientation, with completion anticipated by Q2 2024.
